SS Harpers Cruise Lines

SS Harper's Cruise Lines

So the budget is coming end of January and now Baird announces that they are backing off on restricting public employees right to strike? What will Harper and Co sell off next in order to retain power? Jim Flaherty’s Hair? Peter Van Loan’s Eyebrows?

Come on. This type of politicking has to stop, we have given the Conservatives enough chances. Lets give this coalition a chance and return Canada to fair rule, representative of most Canadians. Harper cannot be trusted at a time like this. His willingness to bully then wheel and deal  shows he lacks the character to be Prime Minister.

Go to Smart Vote and show your support for the Coalition Government. Change can come to Canada if we show our support. This can be our Canadian change and it doesnt have to take the form of an individual person. Change for Canada can be shown in our support for our Coalition government; a government formed by cooperation and agreement for the betterment of Canada, not a government focussed on self interest and power.  Send off the form and send this to all your friends and family. We can bring change to our country if we act in support. Lets not let the illegal election stick.

Harpers Poison

Harper's Poison

It may be premature to call it but it looks as if Steven’s goose is cooked.  By blatantly politicizing the Global Economic Crisis the Harperites have shown their empty hand, exposing the uselessness of an organization that knows only how to bully and manipulate.  Political tactics and maneuvering may look impressive but actually running the country seems to be well beyond the scope of the mean and small minded crew that surround mastermind and Leader by Heavenly Decree Steven Harper.

The Harperite arrogance is in true form here, not even attempting to hide its attacks behind any policies that might at least appear to deal with the massive and immediate crisis.  For this Canadians are told sternly to wait till next year; just huddle together for body warmth and did you know that if you boil a leather belt you  can make yourself a stew?

Aside from the glaring incompetence of the Economic Update, the real backfire is the poison pill the Harperites placed smugly before the three opposition parties with the order to swallow.

Actually the whole situation reminds of this:
Harperites Vs Liberals for Princess Canada

The Harperites are trying to delay his fall for another week but besides their having to come up with an actual economic plan they’re going to be busy dodging knives as the Conservative party turns into a feeding frenzy and possibly shatters into its component parties.

We can’t afford Harperite insanity, we can’t afford another election.

I guess its Coalition time.

Nay sayers say nay but this Coalition thing is going to stick. Its already got its own momentum, but its strongest asset is its clear mandate of dealing with the Economic Crisis. This clarity of purpose should keep all the players focused and hold them together for the two or so years needed to stabilize the situation.

Besides we don’t really have any other choice.

Harper Scrambles to Retain Power against Coalition
I dont think this is a genius move. Yes Harper has all the money and yes he has the sweatervest and those lame commercials, but I think he crossed a threshold.

Ive already noticed the ancient supporters of the Conservative Party have been roused from the beds of their retirement homes and summoned to the computer room to post their usual misleading and virulent attacks online. What wont I miss when Harper is gone (amongst the many things)? Well one is being insulted and personally attacked by seniors and pastors who have nothing better to do than overpost their backwards attitudes on things. Why seniors and pastors? Simple, some of them are dumb enough to post their own names. Then’s its a matter of google.

So why would religious figures feel such anger towards people of different opinions? Well I cant answer that in a blog post but I think some of them should address that when speaking to their members.

Back to Harper; so he’s bought some time. Will it change much? Possibly, Mr Harper is known for his low blows and dirty tricks so expect some extreme truth bending. Will Mr Harper help Canada? Hell No! That man is more interested in power than anyone else in Canada and would sell his mother to the Somalis if it got him a majority.

So the question really is. Do you want to be run by a control freak who will allow you to starve to prove his ideology? Do you want to live in a Canada where everyone “takes care of themselves” and noone is friendly or helpful? Ever been to Cremona Alberta? Cause that’s what’s coming.

Take some time and think, is a coalition formed of parties working together better than an autocrat control freak for leader?

I for one support the coalition and am willing help. I believe change comes in different ways and Canada, this is change. Lets re-earn our reputation and be proud not embarrassed by our “Leader”.

Here’s an interesting theory about the current situation that Harper has created. I dont know if I agree with the pollster that they have cited. They have no polls that they mention on their site and I have no faith in polling knowing how the Tories abuse them.

Do you trust the Tories? I dont and Harper’s power madness scares me. What Canada doesnt need right now is a Turkmenbashi

Illegal Election PM Harper buys time, posits hypocrisy as defense

So six weeks after Steeve Harper called his illegal election and then found out the hard way that being a bully has a limited lifespan, he’s tried to portray Stephane Dion as Canada’s Pervez Musharref.

“The opposition has every right to defeat the government, but Stéphane Dion does not have the right to take power without an election,” Mr. Harper said. “Canada’s government should be decided by Canadians, not backroom deals. It should be your choice – not theirs.”

What horseshit Mr Harper. You have lied to the people of Canada about pretty much everything except for the names of your family so why should we believe you now.

How about that Leadership Mr Harper? Where the hell is it? You sure arent showing it and ripping off M Dion’s 5 point plan isnt leadership, its ripping someone off.

What about that steady hand and economic knowledge? So far you are making my cat look like Keynes when it comes to economic intelligence. As for the steady hand I guess you misinterpreted that Canadians want nothing.

How about that decorum and era of cooperation you promised? Man Mr Harper you are one major bullshit artist these days and you want us, the people of Canada to unite against a threat that affects you. I dont think so Mr Harper. Its time to do the right thing and step aside. You have made this mess but it is quite obvious you lack the skills, knowledge, tact and ability to do anything but make it worse.

When it comes down to it this parliament, like the last is toxic for one reason and one reason alone: Stephen Harper. Mr Harper is always the one behind the dirty tricks and now he’s against the ropes. He caused this mess and frankly as a Canadian I have had enough of his games. Its time for the opposition to have a chance and if Harper has a problem, he can have a long hard thought while he sits in the corner.
