Stephen Harper without the sweatervest

Stephen Harper without the sweatervest

So Steeve has decided to postpone the opposition days to buy himself some time. Didnt Paul Martin do that when you were hot on his heels? Ironic? You bet. Fitting? For damn sure it is.

Come on tough guy why dont you put your moxie in the right place and show a bit of balls. After all you claimed to be a leader.

And what was with that bullshit press conference you called today? Where the hell do you get a mandate out of a minority? You are smug and arrogant Mr Harper and not fit to rule.

So accept it. Either you come up with a real plan with real ideas that benefit all Canadians or let the vote happen and get out of the way.

Do something for your country instead of yourself for a change

The Canadian Press: Liberals propose non-confidence motion, governing coalition

“We were just elected by the people of Canada with an increased
number of seats, the people of Canada clearly viewed our party as the
best party to steer our country through what is a serious economic
downturn, and we put forward yesterday, after deliberation, our plan
for the country.

“So we expect it to have the support of Parliament given the will as expressed of the Canadian people.”

What the hell is it with these Tories? 36.7% is not a majority Mr Flaherty.

Its time for this government and Mr Flaherty to go. Please bring on the coalition which represents the true majority of Canadians

Experts doubtful a Liberal-NDP coalition would work

Okay CTV let me get this straight. You asked two polysci professors their opinions of the Lib/NDP coalition and tried to pass that off as news?

Give me a fucking break. First the one professor is part of the Calgary School. For those of you that dont know who that is they are the ones that helped forge this mess known as Harper.

Tell you what CTV. Why not report some real news with facts for a change.

Liberals propose non-confidence motion, governing coalition

Source Macleans

Well it’s started. The Liberals will be tabling a motion of Non Confidence on Monday and proposing a coalition government between them and the other opposition parties. 62.5% of Canada might actually have a government that represents them

For our tory friends out there 62.5% is a majority, not 37.5%.  So shove that mandate up your ass!

Why we need a Coalition Government

What a rough day its been for Big Daddy. Good thing too because he sure deserves it. This whole partisan game of political chicken and kneecapping should be recognized for what it is and we should allow the opposition to take over. Why? Simple

Stephen Harper and Company have not given one concrete action or implication that they are doing anything. Go ahead google it and you’ll find out that Canada is getting criticized for doing the opposite. Now is not the time for risky actions Mr Harper and YOU are risky.

Stephen Harper was elected on leadership and the merit of being a steady hand on the tiller. To day he has not shown any evidence of either being less than transparent and preferring ideology until its too late.

The RB Bennett/Stephen Harper comparisons are getting too rich. RB Bennett hurt this country by sticking to free market ideology far too long. When he announced his stimulus package it was too late to help most Canadians. Why do we want to repeat history? Is Stephen Harper going to go on the national media and lament the death of the free market like Bennett did in the 30’s?

Noone trusts Jim Flaherty. I dont need to prove this, just go and ask any Canadian who is affected by the economic crisis.
The government isnt doing its job and using the threat of an election to hold power. 6 weeks? Really, that’s the best they could do? After 3 whole days of decorum the government is showing that it is too partisan to govern and to blind to see reality.

We need a coalition government. At least we know we wont be ruled by a partisan ideologue like Harper
