Ever wonder what life under a dictator is like? Well take a look at these pictures from the land of Turkmenbashi; the crazed late dictator of Turkmenistan who died in 2005.

Turkmenbashi treated his country like it was an amusement park and created a cult of personality that was, well… insane.

Stephen Harper tried to destabilize the government to save his ass and is busy creating a cult of personality that would probably be well… insane.

Its time for a new PM, whether it be by coalition or by new Tory leader. This isnt working and I dont think I need a poll to find out that Canada doesnt need a Canadamenbashi.

What are Canadamenbashi’s first decrees going to be? Maybe a giant gold statue of him overlooking the city of Calgary? Maybe he’ll ban Roch Voisine and Raine Maida? Actually that might not be that bad of an idea

Anyone notice how whenever the Tory’s are ranting about the Evil and nefarious Bloc they always say “Socialist” before “Separatist?”  So its somehow more threatening that the Treacherous Bloc Quebecois has “Socialist” leanings rather then their “Separatist” leanings?

Right now we are the only Nation in the World with a Government that does not recognize that Lassez-Faire Economics are what got us into this mess. Active government spending that is generous and prudent is what is needed to try and clean up the mess that policies like those Harper advocates have made. These he labels as “Socialist” and therefore evil.

In his speeches Harper and crew bemoan being made to answer to a “Socialist” Opposition, that he is unwilling to compromise on enacting “Socialist” policies, and that “Socialism” is a threat so dire to the well being of Canada that he is willing to ripe the Nation apart in order to avoid it.

Harper has whacked every hornets nest he can find in order to distract us from the real issue here, which is the fact that his economic policies are internationally recognized as regressive, counter productive, harmfull and insane.

This is the issue Mr. Harper, stop trying to obscure this fact by creating as many crisis as you can.

Harper also tries to make it about everyone but him. The Coalition is this and that, the Bloc Quebecois are this and that, Dion is this and that, the People of Canada are this and that, the Parliament is that and that, the opposition is this and that.  What about you Mr. Harper? You have yet to taken one iota responsibility for anything you have done to provoke this unprecedented series of unnessicary crisis’. You act some some beleaguered victim, as if everyone is against you and you are the only thing standing between Canada and the Barbarians at the gate.

Your “Scorched Earth” approach seems to ignore the fact that the Earth you are Scorching is Canada. Stop trying to destroy a Nation of Peoples you neither care for nor understand.

Working Together for Canada as a Whole = DO AS I SAY!

Political Consensus= DESTROY ALL POLITICAL OPPOSITION!

Quebec= Land of dirty Evil Separatist motherfuckers who didn’t vote for me and thus are hellbent on destroying us all.

Democracy = DO AS I SAY!

Parliament = A nuisance to be shut down when inconvenient.

Election = A way to sort out the True Canadians (Those that Vote Harper) and Enemies of the People (Those that do not vote Harper)

The Office of The Prime Minister = Permanent Job of Steven Harper

Economic Crisis = Leverage to try and push through vicious attacks on the Enemies of Harper

Canada should not be in this mess, the Governor General should not be deciding our political fate.

She is a representative of the Queen, the Head of our State, and guess what, we’re making her more then a Figurehead. We’re making ourselves back into a Monarchy by forcing her to exercise her Power, and Power exercise is Power taken.

We the People of Canada made an agreement with our Sovereign ruler. We said that we should control their Canadian Dominion for them because we could do a better job of A) running it and B)Seeing to the interests of Canadian Subjects.

We said we would still recognize them as The Figurehead and all that but that other then a Ceramonial Role showing our feilty, you really shouldn’t stick your nose in our business.

So we built a House for the Representatives of the Commoners to get together and hash out what the fuck we we’re going to do and then a process for building Governments to do it.

If we the Commoners cannot operate our House of Commons in a functional way we give the responsibility of rule to the Queen. We activate all those relics which are the Monarchy keeping their pinky finger just touching our nation in a ’still mine’ sort of way.

What we are damaging is our very right as the Common People to Govern ourselves free from the interference of a Family in a castle on an island far far away.

We may not like being called Commoners or Subjects but that is what we are making ourselves when we ask the Repressentative of the Queen, and not the Repressentatives of The People to make decisions regarding the Governce of this Nation.

Fellow Commoner Mr. Steven Harper in the Office of The Prime Minister of Canada and As The Prime Minister of Canada has flung the words ‘traitor’ and ’sedition’ around with a casualness that demeans what truly serious accusations these are, especially when used in an Official capacity.

Mr. Harper as Prime Minister Officially charged, in a Prime Ministerial Televised Prime Time Announcement, that the men and women who are Members of the NDP and Liberal Parties are Traitors to the Nation of Canada and the Canadian People.  Mr. Harper has explained that  they were charged with this heinous crime for collaborating with The Bloc Quebecois. Apparently the Members of Parliament who belong to this “Separatist” Party are no longer Duly Elected Representatives of the People of Quebec but, by inference, all Rebels and Villains.

Shouldn’t they be charged to?
