Okay folks this one was hard. I dont think Ive come across a skin tone so complex in such a long time. Still, Im disappointed as I thought he was going to be far scarier than Flaherty. For those of you that ask why no Stephane Dion? Well…his eyebrows are about as impressive as his leadership.

Has Don Cherry gone senile?
April 5th, 2008 by hoodedfangIm not so sure what to think of Don Cherry as of late and after seeing some of his weird antics tonight I have to think he’s going senile. First he started talking about hockey, then he told us that if the government tells us to do something it’s law and we should just do it. He followed this up with a recent theme of his: the attractiveness of young men. I don’t know why Don Cherry has to tell some hockey player that he needs a haircut because he finds him hot when he’s clean cut. He’s been talking about all the attractive soldiers which is getting me to think that maybe ol’Don has himself a uniform fetish. Well it makes sense doesn’t it?
I also have to disagree with Mr Cherry when it comes to government and laws. This is still a free country and I am free to disagree with the government and the laws if I like. After all blind obedience isn’t exactly freedom is it Don?

Somebody somewhere thought it would be a good idea to privatize everything, oddly they had lots of money with which to buy formerly public institutions which is probably why they thought it was so good. So they convinced other people, the methods by which are not for me to say, and suddenly the people of BC were blessed with the sacred right of choice in who they bought their natural gas from.

And why didn’t anybody else go onto the tracks and try to get the phone back for me? Aren’t there any real men left in Vancouver?”

The Olympian paid volunteer

Showdown at UBC
January 31st, 2008 by hoodedfangwell not really. Yesterday UBC received a bomb threat that was serious enough for the police to send out a squad fitting for an episode of TJ Hooker. Did they find anything? Thankfully no but most of the surrounding area was locked down. How do I know? Well ladies and gents ol’ Fang here was locked up like grandpa’s old hunting rifle here at UBC.
To be honest outside of the choppers circling the building like vultures it was pretty normal for the most part. The worst delay came this morning with all the cameramen scrambling to see the rarely seen “students boarding a bus”.

Stuck in someone else’s iPod hell
January 18th, 2008 by hoodedfangHave you ever found yourself in this situation: You’re at work or somewhere you cannot leave. A person plugs their iPod into speakers and then you have free music for the time you’re there. Sounds great huh? Well it depends doesnt it. For the past two days I have been sitting by such a person and heard the U2 catelogue for the entire time.
Not being a Bono fan to begin with this is annoying to begin with but that damn “It’s a Beautiful Day” song has been creeping into my ears over 10 times !
