We are the change!

Monday, December 1st, 2008

A lot has happened this weekend and what a great time it is to be Canadian. Democracy has awoken amongst us and shown that we believe in our Country and that it’s time to work together to help out each other and come out of these hard times more united and more prosperous.

Our neighbours to the south found that in Barack Obama but is there a Canbama? You bet there is. Now is our time for our change and we are the agents of such change. We need to voice our support for the Coalition and not for Stephen Harper.

SS Harpers Cruise Lines

SS Harper's Cruise Lines

So the budget is coming end of January and now Baird announces that they are backing off on restricting public employees right to strike? What will Harper and Co sell off next in order to retain power? Jim Flaherty’s Hair? Peter Van Loan’s Eyebrows?

Come on. This type of politicking has to stop, we have given the Conservatives enough chances. Lets give this coalition a chance and return Canada to fair rule, representative of most Canadians. Harper cannot be trusted at a time like this. His willingness to bully then wheel and deal  shows he lacks the character to be Prime Minister.

Harpers Poison

Harper's Poison

It may be premature to call it but it looks as if Steven’s goose is cooked.  By blatantly politicizing the Global Economic Crisis the Harperites have shown their empty hand, exposing the uselessness of an organization that knows only how to bully and manipulate.  Political tactics and maneuvering may look impressive but actually running the country seems to be well beyond the scope of the mean and small minded crew that surround mastermind and Leader by Heavenly Decree Steven Harper.

Why we need a Coalition Government

Friday, November 28th, 2008

What a rough day its been for Big Daddy. Good thing too because he sure deserves it. This whole partisan game of political chicken and kneecapping should be recognized for what it is and we should allow the opposition to take over. Why? Simple

Stephen Harper and Company have not given one concrete action or implication that they are doing anything. Go ahead google it and you’ll find out that Canada is getting criticized for doing the opposite. Now is not the time for risky actions Mr Harper and YOU are risky.

Mr Sweatervest

With word of a possible Liberal/NDP coalition in the works the government has decided to issue a

stern warning from of course the most trusted and believed Jim Flaherty. According to CTV.ca, Flaherty advised the opposition to give it all a “sober second thought”  before defeating  the bill and losing confidence in the government. He then went to say “the government was elected by the Canadian people and given a mandate to run the economy.”

Damn Im Good!

Damn I'm Good!

During the election when asked about our financial plan to deal with the biggest and most hideously complicated global economic crisis in history, we told you all would be revealed at the Economic Update.   Now that the time has come for us to unveil the Economic Update, We are here to tell you that we actually meant to say that it would be at the Budget. Sorry. My bad.

Crackdown On Ontario Street

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

The Vancouver Police must not have much to do, every day this week they’ve been out at Ontario and Broadway busting the guys who wait there for stray employment.  Ontario street has always been the place to go if you need work under the table.

One step below Labour Ready on the Blue Collar Hierarchy, people go there to hire someone to move some boxes, or load their car, or any other basic labor job, negotiated on the spot, usually for very cheap.
